This comply and development project in Ettalong Beach on the Central Coast was a 1950s beach shack.

Striped back to its bare bones the back half of the house was completely removed to make way for the new extension comprising of a master bedroom, ensuite, walk in robe and bathroom.

The lounge room, dining and family area roofs were re-pitched with raked ceilings creating an open and light filled space.

Combined with a large entertaining deck and cascading stairs, this house was transformed into a modern family home without loosing its beach house heritage.
